In a little town of oakwood, Ontario hides a small little cafe. Walking in here brings you back to post 1945, vintage decor and cozy little room at most sits 4. Very simplistic design, I’m guessing the owner is either Italian. Looking through the menu, I ordered a cortado ($2.75).

This cortado was served in a ceramic cup, which was a bit odd. First sip didn’t offer any hint of cream. It hinted sourness, but it’s a different type of sourness, it’s almost like they used the wrong type of bean. The consistency is definitely there, right viscosity, but the creamy note is nonexistent.

I love the decor. Very simple, and brings you back in time. They also have these very cool vintage espresso machines on display, curious to see whether they work or not.
